Tailored energy advice for your home

Create a plan to make your home more energy efficient and cut bills and carbon emissions.

Homewise is available to residents of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire. With the Homewise tool you can create a free, personalised home energy improvement plan based on information about your home.

How does it work?

Homewise is a digital energy advice tool that will show you which energy efficiency improvements and low carbon technologies could boost the energy rating of your home and save money on your energy bills.

Homewise offers you impartial energy saving advice that is tailored to your home and lifestyle.

Just follow three simple steps, and Homewise will guide you to create your plan.

Remember, the tool is personalised to your home and energy needs. In some cases, it may suggest options like a new gas or biomass boiler based on where you're at right now and your current setup. But if you're aiming to make your home more sustainable in the long term, there are small steps you can take now, like improving insulation or switching to low-carbon tariffs, that could help open the door to more sustainable technologies in future, such as a heat pump or solar panels.

The Homewise tool is for information and domestic use only. PECT and Peterborough City Council are not liable for any claims, actions, proceedings, losses, damages, expenses and costs arising from the use of the Homewise tool.

Homewise uses datasets from various specialist sources to build home improvement plans. Data accuracy is not guaranteed, and some inaccuracies may exist. Users are therefore encouraged to amend their property details if required.
